The questioning lasted for nearly the entire day,” said Inspector General of Police (IGP), Crime, Syed Javaid Mujtaba Gilani. The former chairman, who is suspected to have sold exam papers to candidates through a conduit, reached the Crime Branch office in the city here at 11:30 am and his questioning lasted till 5:30 pm. Gilani said Peer would again be summoned for further questioning on Thursday. The Crime Branch is nearing a breakthrough in thescam in which exam papers for selection into medical colleges were allegedly sold by Peer to a conduit.
