Indian Army guns down seven militants near Kashmir border
Srinagar, Oct 07 (ANI): Indian Army neutralized seven militants near the disputed border in Kashmir where gun battles have been going on with infiltrators from Pakistan for the past fortnight. Colonel Sanjay Mitra, a senior officer of Indian Army said this while interacting with the mediapersons at Srinagar. Col. Sanjay Mitra said that extremists were gunned down as they tried to sneak further into Indian territories and a huge cache of arms and ammunition have been recovered.
Mulayam confident of forming Third Front after 2014 polls New Delhi, Oct 7 (ANI): Samajwadi Party (SP) supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav on Monday said a Third Front will surely be formed after the general elections in 2014. Yadav, however, refused to disclose the name of Third Front's Prime Ministerial candidate.The Samajwadi Party chief is expected to meet CPI (M) General Secretary Prakash Karat later this month and hold discussion on the possibilities of a Third Front.
