J&K attack: Victim’s kin mourns their loss
Jammu & Kashmir, Sep 27 (ANI)
: After the Kashmir attack by the militants disguised as Indian army, villagers giving their first-hand account of the twin assault that killed at least eight said that security lapses led to the attack. A group of three gunmen attacked a police station in Hiranagar village of Kathua district, killing five policemen. They then hijacked a truck and raided an army camp. One civilian was also killed. Family of the dead police constable Shiv Kumar and a civilian, Suresh, who ran a shop near the police station, mourned over the loss of their loved ones.



Manmohan Singh to meet Obama to discuss bilateral issues
Washington DC, Sep 27 (ANI):
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will meet US President Barack Obama on Friday, a day after he arrived in Washington DC in the USA, to discuss a host of issues related to defence, economic, bilateral and multilateral concerns. India is making a last-minute push to close a nuclear deal in time for a meeting between Obama and Singh, who has made atomic energy cooperation with Washington a hallmark of his tenure. Commenting on this proposed meeting with Obama, he said they would review the progress that has been made and also what further could be done to strengthen it. India aims to lift its nuclear capacity to 63,000 megawatts in the next 20 years by adding nearly 30 reactors. 



Khemka chargesheet: Anybody against Gandhi family will face consequences, says BJPN ew Delhi, Sep 27 (ANI): As the Congress government in Haryana is all set to chargesheet IAS officer Ashok Khemka for raising voice against Congress President Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra, BJP leader Vijay Sonkar Shastri said on Friday that anybody who raises their voice against anyone in Gandhi family will succumb to such consequences. Further, he also said that expecting justice from the Congress government is useless.
