Congress dares VK Singh to name J&K ministers who were paid money Srinagar, Sept 24 (ANI): Congress leader and Jammmu and Kashmir Sports minister Taj Mohiuddin on Tuesday dared former Army chief General VK Singh to name the ministers who were given funds. Speaking to mediapersons in Srinagar, Mohiuddin termed the matter as unfortunate and said that investigation should be done. He also said that Singh is either diluting the reports or has some motivation to malign the name of some ministers.
Subramanian Swamy defends V K Singh New Delhi, Sep 24 (ANI): BJP leader Subramanian Swamy on Tuesday defended former Army Chief Gen (Retd) V K Singh and said that he was being targeted. Earlier, VK Singh admitted that the money from the secret fund was used in Kashmir but only towards social schemes. Singh said that the money that had been given was a part of the 'Sadbhavna' that is carried out by the Army. He said that it was given to only to stabilize the areas affected by terror as well as the areas across the border.
TDP is opportunistic: Congress on reports of TDP-NDA

He also said that the party is acting as an opportunistic party. As the BJP is leaving no stone unturned to gather new allies before 2014 LS polls, TDP chief Chandra Babu Naidu in a recent meeting with the BJP president Rajnath Singh had raised speculations of a possible tie-up between the two parties.
Big trade deficit with China not sustainable in long run: Commerce ministry New Delhi, Sept 24 (ANI): Commerce Ministry said that the widening trade deficit with China is a matter of concern and not sustainable in the long run, as representatives from both countries met to explore greater business opportunities between the countries. India-China Business Matchmaking Symposium in New Delhi was organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Trade Development Bureau (TDB) of China, in the backdrop of exponential growth in the trade sector between the two countries in the last few years.
Ranbir Kapoor wants to stay away from Twitter? At a recent event when the Kapoor lad was asked why doesn’t he join the micro blogging site Twitter where almost everyone from Bollywood is present Ranbir said, “There is too much negativity on Twitter and I want to stay away from it. Aur main roz roz kya bolunga. I don’t have anything intelligent to say. Whatever I want to say I will say it through my movies and interviews. Half the time people will be abusing me on Twitter and half the time somebody will be praising me. So either it will go to my head or I will take it to my heart. So better I stay away from it,” said the actor.
