Chinese Premier Li Keqiang (R) and MoS External Affairs E Ahamed in New Delhi on Sunday. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today raised with visiting Chinese Premier Li Keqiang the recent incursion by the People’s Liberation Army in Ladakh and is understood to have cautioned that any such face-off between troops of the two countries along the Line of Actual Control in future could impact bilateral relationship.

Afghan President Hamid Karzai will seek increased military aid from India during a three-day visit starting tomorrow and discuss recent cross-border clashes with Pakistan, an aide said.

The Delhi Police on Sunday arrested three more persons, including a former Ranji player and two bookies, in connection with the IPL spot-fixing case. “Manish Gudewa (33), who was part of the Vidarbha team from 2003-05 and a friend of Ajit Chandila, was arrested from Aurangabad in Maharashtra along with Sunil Bhatia and Kiran Dole alias Munna,” said SN Srivastava.
