Railgate: CBI to question Pawan Bansal next week
New Delhi, May 11
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has started preparing a set of questions to Pawan Bansal at his Delhi residence on Saturday. PTIbe put to former Railway Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal for ascertaining his role in the railway scam, sources have said. Sources said Bansal would be questioned any time next week by a CBI team consisting of senior officers who were busy examining the documents seized during raids at Mumbai, Delhi, Chandigarh and other places.

Coal scam: Cong slams BJP
New Delhi, May 11
The Congress today hit out at the BJP for seeking Prime Minister’s resignation over the Coalgate controversy and said the principal Opposition party had two faces on the issue. Blaming the BJP for budget session washout over demands of resignation of former Railway and Law Ministers, the ruling party said all that the BJP was interested in was “resignations”.

Sibal: Norms needed for govt-CBI interface
New Delhi, May 11
Law Minister Kapil Sibal today hinted at the possibility of drafting norms and guidelines for government-CBI interface in the wake of the ongoing coalgate controversy wherein the Supreme Court has taken a strong view of government interference with the probe.
Apex court’s castigation of former Law Minister Ashwani Kumar for changing the heart of the CBI report led to his unceremonious exit last evening after he was sacked by the government at the insistence of the Congress.
