New Delhi, April 22
The budget session of Parliament resumed on a stormy note today with members in both Houses disrupting proceedings over a series of issues, including the increasing incidents of crime against women, the leakage of the JPC report on the coal scam, the recent heckling of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in the Capital, alleged human rights violations in West Bengal and the demand for a separate Telangana state.

Chinese incursion: Army rushes troops to Ladakh 
Beijing says its soldiers patrolled the Chinese side of LAC without ‘trespassing’ it 
New Delhi, April 22
In what could be seen as an escalation of tension between India and China on the icy heights of northern Ladakh, the Indian Army has rushed a contingent of 60 troops to the area. Ladakh Scouts men are now in an eyeball-to-eyeball situation with the Chinese east of Daulat Beg Oldie — the highest advanced landing ground (ALG) close to the Karakoram pass. The men have been tasked to keep a watch on the Chinese. So far, Beijing has not responded to the Indian message for conducting a second flag meeting after talks at the first one failed.

Vadra-DLF deal fallout: Mutation work halts in many districts
Chandigarh, April 22
Six months after the Robert Vadra-DLF controversy rocked Haryana, its reverberations linger on: Land mutation work has come to a virtual standstill in a few districts. This has a direct bearing on the property entitlement in the state. Sources said mutation proceedings are on in 49 estates across the state where mutations are either being sanctioned "as per provisions" or are held up since the controversy.
