New Delhi, April 9
Five Indian Army soldiers, including a Lieutenant Colonel from Haryana, were killed in a gunfight with armed rebels in South Sudan, Africa, on Tuesday. Five others, including an officer, have been injured.

An injured Akali activist admitted to Guru Gobind Singh Medical College and Hospital, Faridkot, after a clash on Tuesday.One person was killed and six others seriously injured when two groups owing allegiance to rival SAD leaders clashed in the Jaitu area of Faridkot this evening.

Police says son, aide plotted realtor Bhardwaj’s murder

Two weeks after the sensational murder of real estate tycoon and BSP leader Deepak Bhardwaj, the Delhi Police today announced the arrest of his estranged younger son Nitesh and close aide Baljeet Singh Sherawat for allegedly plotting the crime.
