Musharraf returns, says he wants to ‘save’ Pakistan
Karachi, March 24
Former Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf gestures upon his arrival at Karachi airport on Sunday. Former military dictator Pervez Musharraf today ended nearly four years in self-exile defying threats of arrest and assassination by Taliban, saying that he returned home to "save" Pakistan and would face all "challenges" that lay ahead.

Khurshid defends vote against Lanka
New Delhi, March 24
External Affairs Minister Salman Khurshid has strongly defended India’s decision to vote in favour of a US-sponsored resolution against Sri Lanka at the UN Human Rights Council meet (UNHRC), saying the step was taken keeping in mind the overwhelming sentiments of the people of Tamil Nadu and the supreme national interest.

Mittal: India not my top priority for investment
Ahmedabad, March 24
Unhappy over delay in getting clearances for his projects, the world’s largest steelmaker LN Mittal today said India was not his top priority for investment.
Speaking to newsmen on the sidelines of convocation of Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A), where he was the chief guest, Mittal said:

Former Telecom Minister A Raja, the main accused in the 2G spectrum scam, has accused Attorney General GE Vahanvati of telling a “series of untruths” against him. In reply to a JPC questionnaire, Raja has further claimed that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was in the loop over policy decisions.
