Govt employee held for attack on CRPF camp 
Srinagar, March 16
A 28-year-old government employee from north Kashmir’s Baramulla district has been arrested for allegedly helping the two foreign militants for carrying the recent Fidayeen (suicide) attack in Bemina which left five CRPF men dead.

Swiss tourist camping in MP gang raped 
Datia (MP), March 16
A Swiss female tourist on a cycling trip with her husband was gang raped by seven to eight persons at a forest area in Datia district of Madhya Pradesh, the police said today. A rape case has been registered against seven to eight unidentified persons, but no arrest made.

NCB left red-faced over its poster boy Vijender

Come April and officials of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) will surely want to cover their official 2013 calendar for ace boxer Vijender Singh, facing probe in the recent heroin haul case, features on it giving an anti-drug message. Vijender is among 12 internationally acclaimed Indian youth sportsmen figuring on NCB’s first-ever table calendar released and distributed to various ministries, government offices and states earlier this year.
