Screen presence
The Chandigarh Lalit Kala Akademi will organise screening of the film Jaya Ganga on December 27 at the auditorium of the Government Museum and Art Gallery, Sector 10, Chandigarh. The film has been written and directed by the Indian origin, Paris-based writer, director and journalist Vijay Singh.

Priyanka sad about Barfi!
Priyanka Chopra is sad that her film Barfi! is out of the Oscar race but the actress says she is glad that the film was sent in as the official entry from India.
The Anurag Basu-directed film, starring Ranbir Kapoor as a deaf and mute boy and Priyanka as an autistic girl, was initially in the running to qualify for the best foreign language film category at the 85th Academy Awards but failed to make it to the short-listed nine films.
