The close circuit television (CCTV) footage showing the assault on SS Mand, AIG, counter intelligence, Ludhiana, has left the police in a state of shock.

Policemen were aghast to see how badly the senior police officer was beaten up.

According to the CCTV recording available with the police, Maninder, Aman, Rishi and bouncers of the Hub night club attacked Mand outside the club.

His two friends had already sat in the car and Mand was about to sit in the car when he was attacked.

“It seems that Maninder had some personal grudge against Mand. He and his aide mercilessly assaulted Mand. In the recording, all appear to be drunk,” said a police officer who saw the video recording. He said the recording would work as strong evidence against the trio during the trial. The police is now trying to procure the CCTV recording of the events that took place inside the night club. According to Fang, a friend of Mand , Maninder and his men chased and mercilessly assaulted Mand. They even misbehaved with the women who were accompanying them.
