He hosted his alliance partners today to enlist their cooperation in the smooth functioning of the session and has also reached out across the political aisle to invite BJP leaders for dinner tomorrow.

Tax holiday for hill states opposed

Punjab and Haryana have opposed a demand by the hill states of Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Jammu and Kashmir for a tax holiday on setting up industry in the states.
