Camera has been instrumental to Surya Shankar Dash’s life. Only when he realised its true power, his life changed for good. Surya gave up his Levi’s jeans and Woodland shoes to follow a frugal life. Abandoning the material pleasures has not been painful for Surya for he was too happy to let go the comforts and jump into the process — a process that he names ‘propaganda for the people’.
