HARYANA’S SHAME
Now 6-year-old raped in Jind

Jind, October 15
Adding more shame to Haryana’s crumbling law and order image, a six-year-old girl was raped in Jind.

The victim, who had been missing since Monday night, was found abandoned in a temple on Tuesday. The medical examination of the victim has confirmed rape. This is fourth such incident in the district in the past one month.

The police has registered a case against an unidentified person. Daughter of a labourer, the victim had gone missing from the Ramlila ground here.

According to the police, the girl’s condition deteriorated in the noon and she was taken to a private clinic where doctors said she was sexually assaulted. The victim was taken to another clinic and from there she was shifted to Civil Hospital where a team of two doctors conducted her examination.

Though the official report was still to be revealed, sources said it confirms sexual assault. No arrest has been made so far.
