It is highly speculated that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be returning to films post motherhood with director Mani Ratnam’s movie which is an adaptation of Daphne Du Maurier's famous 1938 novel Rebecca but the report was fully denied by Mani Ratnam’s wife Suhasini. When she was asked whether Mani Ratnam has signed Aishwarya for Rebecca, she said, "No, its wrong."

Amitabh Bachchan turns 70 on October 11. Wife Jaya Bachchan has planned a grand bash for him in Mumbai and the invites have been sent out.
