All the bad things that can possibly happen to any movie, had happened to Hemant Gaba's Shuttlecock Boys, one of the few Indie movies to see theatrical release in recent times. "We ran out of money during the shoot and further a studio in Mumbai destroyed its negatives during the editing, followed by eight to nine month-long fight to ask them to fix the damage," says 32-year-old Hemant, in Chandigarh on Saturday for the screening of his movie for the Short Film and Documentary Festival.

Classic example
Indian classical vocalist Rishi Rajan and western classical instrumentalist Stuart Masters want to promote world peace through music
In any popular music genre, being average is good enough. But mediocrity has no place in classical music and if you happen to be just average than be ready to face the wrath of those who master it. Responsibility increases manifold when it comes to a classical musician. "It's not only your reputation that's at risk, but that of the entire gharana which you follow," explains Rishi Ranjan, a trained classical musician, who has a training period of 20 years to his credit. He is a sarod player and a guitarist and can also play several other ethnic string instruments. While he has performed all over the world, it's the latest project he is working on that he considers his biggest achievement.
