New Delhi, August 13
MDLR group official Aruna Chadha's police custody was extended by three days by a Delhi court after Additional Public Prosecutor Rajiv Mohan said she was vital to trace emails exchanged between Geetika and Kanda.

The police told the court that Geetika wanted to quit MDLR but was offered various "allurements" to make her stay in the group. "She wanted to quit MDLR, but by showing allurements, threats and persuasion, MDLR wanted to keep her," said Rajiv Mohan.

Documents show Geetika was vice-president of AKG Infratech Private Limited and director of Sundale Education Society. These, Rajiv Mohan said, was an "allurement" to keep Geetika in the MDLR group. The police are now verifying whether both institutions were part of the MDLR group.

He also told the court that when Geetika again started working for MDLR Group as a director after returning from Emirates Airlines in Dubai, she was given an appointment letter in which a clause read that she would have to report to Managing Director Gopal Goyal Kanda every evening after work hours.
