KTS Tulsi appointed special prosecutor in Maruti case

Gurgaon, July 23
The Haryana Government today appointed criminal lawyer KTS Tulsi as special prosecutor for the trial of those involved in violence at Maruti Suzuki's Manesar plant on July 18 that claimed the life of one senior company executive.

The decision was announced by Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda after a meeting with the top management of Maruti Suzuki India Limited and Gurgaon district officials.

The company, meanwhile, said it had been assured full support by the state government in the case. Its chairman cum managing director RC Bhargava reiterated that there was no question of shifting the plant to Gujarat.
