Moving beyond talking
In this world of technology, a phone is no longer just a gadget…it is a window to the world
Talk while you walk — a mobile company introduced the catch line, not knowing that the entire world would be ready to implement it with religious dedication! We don't know about 'walking' but we sure have to talk a lot! Given the Ferrari lane lifestyles we are into, we cannot afford to not be on the phone 24X7, in fact it is a
'ginnie' that makes things possible for us as and when we want to.
Historical notes
"The grandeur of Hindustani classical music is equally relished by music lovers across the borders in Afghanistan; the same repertoire of ragas with text in Persian is sung in original Hindustani taal patterns." Says Kabul-based classical vocalist Ustad Eltaf Husain Sarahang, "We also sing ragas like Bhairavi, Puriya Kalyan, Todi, Malhar; all within the prescribed maryada. The royal rulers not only gave us patronage, but also used to learn from my grandparents."

138 designers to participate in WIFW autumn-winter 2012
The upcoming edition of Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WIFW), to be held next month, will witness a record number of 138 designers showcasing their collection on the ramp and racks.
The number beats the maximum number of designers at the previous two editions of the bi-annual gala. While the spring summer edition 2011 saw 120 designers, the autumn-winter 2011 edition had 130 designers.
The WIFW organising body, Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) on Friday, announced the list of designers who will take part at the five-day extravaganza, which starts February 15.
The list includes 14 new runway and stall designers, showcasing their creations. "This year we have a list of outstanding designers with representation across geographies who will display their creative excellence on the runway," FDCI president Sunil Sethi said in a statement.

No
Agneepath for children
Sanjay Dutt’s twins will not watch Agneepath as the father finds his character too menacing and the movie very violent to be watched by their innocent and impressionable minds.
His character Kancha Cheena is Devil’s Spawn and the wickedest character he has ever played in his career. The movie is very wicked and violent and definitely not meant for children. Sanjay has asked wife Maanayata to keep their children as far away from the movie as possible. They might get scared watching their Daddy
behave like that!

The year ahead
If your birthday is January 29...
Taking care of your health is essential in 2012. Go ahead and spend a little extra money on a gym membership or some exercising equipment. However, people suffering from hypertension should observe due precautions to avoid stress and aggression. Those who are short-tempered should maintain their calm. Do not get disturbed over small issues. It's all about balance. Keep your focus on your short-term plans and goals. You and your partner have plenty of time to think about the big stuff; right now you'll want to keep things light and easy.
