‘Thumbs Up’ drill for the backswing
A correct backswing requires coordination of the arms, hands and body. The ‘thumbs up’ drill helps you feel this and train the hands, arms and body to work together. The Louis Garneau Carbon Pro Team shoes, designed for cycling, use the sweetener xylitol, more commonly found in gum and toothpaste.
Xylitol is an alcohol-based sugar, so when it comes into contact with moisture, it evaporates.Normally, this aspect of xylitol gives gum and toothpaste a minty cooling sensation. But when used in shoes, it cools the feet.
