New Delhi, November 23
The unseasonal dense fog over northern part of the country continued to play havoc with the train schedules with a number of trains between Delhi and various cities in Haryana and Punjab, besides other states, being cancelled for an indefinite period.

While the trains to Rohtak and Rewari continued to remain suspended due to the dense fog prevailing in the region, trains to Palwal, Jind, Bathinda, Kalka and Ferozepur were added to the long list of trains that have been cancelled for tomorrow.

While 13 trains, including the Kanpur Shatabdi, were cancelled today, another 14 trains, including the Delhi-Ambala-Kalka, Delhi-Jind, Delhi-Rewari, Delhi-Bathinda-Ferozepur and Delhi-Palwal trains, will be cancelled from tomorrow.

The Northern Railway said these trains would remain suspended till further notice or till the time the dense fog lifts.

Yesterday, the train traffic from the national capital to various parts of the country remained severely affected with over 100 trains arriving, departing and passing through Delhi reported to be running late.

The Northern Railway also had to reschedule the departure of around 25 trains, some departing over 12 hours after the scheduled time.
