Delhi-Ludhiana Shatabdi from November 4 Chandigarh, October 30 Disclosing this, Sangrur MP Vijay Inder Singla said the Shatabdi would boost travel between Delhi and Sangrur and would go a long way in helping commerce in the Malwa region. He said while there were a number of trains linking Ludhiana with Delhi, this was not the case with Sangrur. He said he would be taking up the issue of modernising the railway track on the Sangrur-Rohtak line so that more trains could be introduced to link the Malwa region with others parts of the country. The Shatabdi will run via Rohtak on its way to and from Delhi. The Railways is set to upgrade signalling as well as track facilities on the route.
