No President’s rule in AP: Cong

New Delhi: The Congress party has ruled out impositiion of president's rule in Andhra Pradesh in the wake of the volatile situation in the Telangana region, where the agitation for a separate state continued on Saturday.

Telangana crisis: Cong MPs threaten indefinite fast

Hyderabad: To mount pressure on the Centre for accepting statehood demand, Congress MPs from the Telangana region today threatened to join the ongoing agitation and go on an indefinite fast. Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy today met senior central ministers Pranab Mukherjee and P. Chidambaram in New Delhi and discussed the situation arising out of the Telangana statehood demand.
 

Custodial death: I won’t be caged in, says Omar
