Hyderabad can be joint capital for some time: TRS chief Rao

Hyderabad, October 2
As the Telangana region continues to remain paralysed due to an indefinite general strike, the architect of the statehood movement and President of Telangana Rashtra Samithi K Chandrasekhar Rao said that he would agree for making Hyderabad a shared capital for a “specific period of time” after bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh. “Hyderabad can be a joint capital till a new capital city is constructed for coastal and Rayalassema regions.

Pak army, ISI training us, says captured militant
Srinagar, October 2
Foiling a major infiltration bid in Machchil sector on the LoC, the Army has apprehended a militant of the Lashkar-e-Toiba outfit, a defence spokesman here said. During preliminary interrogation, the militant Nissar Ahmed, who was arrested on Friday, revealed that he belonged to Karachi (Pakistan). The Army recovered one AK-47 rifle and a large quantity of ammunition from his possession.
