CBI opposes probe against Chidambaram
Says investigations in case over

Strongly opposing a plea for probing Home Minister P Chidambaram’s alleged role in the 2G scam, the CBI today contended in the Supreme Court that its investigations in the case were over and any further investigation could be ordered only by the trial court and not by the SC.

Gurdwara panel orders probe into voting by Sehajdharis
Chandigarh, September 20
Gurdwara Election Commission has ordered a probe into the cases of alleged bogus voting and voting by Sehajdharis in the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee elections held on Sunday.
Justice HS Brar (retd), Chief Commissioner of the Gurdwara Election Commission, has asked all Commissioners, who oversaw the election process, to investigate and submit a report immediately.
