Reiterating the stand taken by former telecom minister A.Raja in his defense last month, DMK MP Kanimozhi, named as co-conspirator in 2G Spectrum allocation scam today said that Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and the then Finance Minister P. Chidambaram were fully aware of the 2G license allocations and the policy-decision was taken by the duo along with the Raja.

House panel to look into CBI recommendations

The Haryana Assembly today resolved to set up a House committee to go into the CBI recommendations that the government should take appropriate action against the Ch Devi Lal Memorial Trust, Ch. Devi Lal Memorial Society and the Jan Sewa Trust run by the family of INLD chief Om Prakash Chautala for violating norms. The house also authorised Speaker Kuldeep Sharma to constitute the committee.
