Day after the deadly triple blasts in Mumbai, investigators on Thursday said “all groups hostile to India " were under the scanner and did not rule out involvement of a suicide bomber in the terror strikes. However, no specific leads emerged and authorities did not want to speculate on who could be involved. “All angles are being probed,” they merely said.

Blasts won’t hit talks with Pak: Krishna
New Delhi, July 14
A day after triple blasts rocked the country’s financial capital, India today said the Foreign Minister-level talks with Pakistan would take place as scheduled on July 26-27. Allaying apprehensions that the blasts could affect the dialogue process between India and Pakistan, External Affairs Minister SM Krishna today said that there was no change in the scheduled high-profile visits of his guests from Pakistan US.

The United States will brief India about the preliminary contacts it has established with the Taliban apart from discussing its draw-down strategy from Afghanistan during the second India-US strategic dialogue here on July 19.

PSLV to put GSAT-12 in orbit today
Bangalore, July 14
Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C17) carrying the communication satellite GSAT-12 is all set to blast off from the second launch pad at Sriharikota tomorrow to put the satellite into orbit. The PSLV will, for the first time, be carrying a communications satellite, the 1,410-kg GSAT-12, to place it into an orbit being dubbed as sub geo-stationary transfer orbit (Sub-GTO).

A close shave with death twice over
Mumbai, July 14
An interior decorator, whose car was badly damaged in the bomb blast in Dadar last evening, had a narrow escape in terror attacks for the second time. Deepak Patel (36), who was driving his Maruti Esteem, in which, according to initial reports, the bomb was planted, escaped unhurt when the bomb, kept atop a bus stop, went off when he was passing by the spot.
