In safe hands?
The fact that the breaks jam if you are clocking in 100 miles per hour without a seat belt on is not the reason you'd go for Bavaria Motor Works. BMW, that is, for the uninitiated!

High on DESIGN
If the mind is keen, creativity can stem out of thin air. Keeping this philosophy in mind, the B.Sc students of INIFD featured a kaleidoscope of 20 collections created by the students of the institute. The temperatures ran high as the music filled the background and the lights escalated the mood.

Big chances on small screen
Veteran actor Rajeev Verma, who will be seen in a negative role in Prakash Jha's Aarakshan, is enjoying his stint on small screen as TV's favourite father. Be your own Kabir
GN Devy was in Chandigarh on the invitation of Chandigarh Sahitya Akademi to deliver a lecture on contemporary creative expression on Monday. "There have been great writers who have cut across barriers of language, caste or religion like Nanak, Tukaram and Kabir," says Devy. There is nothing to regret though. "Today, a writer has do much more than just write to reach out to the masses," he says. "Writer must invent his or her space today," says Devy, citing examples of Narayanbhai Desai whose rendition of Gandhi Katha has an audience of up to thousands. On occasions, several lakhs show up when poet, singer Gadar from Andhra Pradesh presents something.
