Tiwari can’t escape DNA test: Delhi HC
Legal Correspondent

New Delhi, July 7
The Delhi High Court today said it would not allow former Uttarakhand Chief Minister ND Tiwari to frustrate its order directing him to give blood sample for a DNA test to ascertain as to whether he was the biological father of 31-year-old Rohit Shekhar.

“We will not even allow an impression that you can flout the court order. We will not allow you to frustrate the order,” Justice Gita Mittal told Tiwari’s counsel.

The Judge then directed the 85-year-old Congress leader to explain by July 11 as to why he had failed to provide the blood sample so far.
