Renowned spiritual leader Sathya Sai Baba passed away today after a prolonged illness, triggering an outpouring of grief by millions of his devotees across the world.

A top Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) commander was among two militants shot dead by Army troops during an encounter in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.The two militants have been identified as most wanted militant and top LeT Commander of Pir Panchal belt Ayaz Ahmed Malik alais 'Musa' and Farooq Ahmed Thakri alais Zulfikar Nain, a senior Army officer told PTI.

The Supreme Court will tomorrow have a crucial hearing in the Aarushi-Hemraj double murder case with the CBI submitting that the investigation has reached a stage indicating the alleged involvement of dentist couple Rajesh and Nupur Talwar."Investigation has squarely reached a conclusion that no one other than Rajesh Talwar and Nupur Talwar could have conjointly committed this dastardly crime," the agency has said in its affidavit.
