What a Row deal
What the fashion houses pay certain celebs to sit in the front row is surprising
It pays to have a Rihanna or a Madonna sitting pretty in the front and checking out your collection. If clothes maketh a man, front row maketh a designer and showstopper maketh the clothes!
Whoever graces the front row of your show is, perhaps, as important as the theme of your collections. The international trend has since long had a trickle down effect back home. No spelling the names but we've had authors, union ministers, cricketers grace the front rows. Of course, Hollywood has always been there and is still there.

Preity well played!
There is no point asking whether you ever get enough of cricket. The answer will be the obvious - never! So, after the glorious victory at the World Cup 2011 (we are still basking under the victory by the way), it's time to enjoy entertainment ka 'tadka' on the pitch with
IPL. With some interesting rumours doing the rounds on cheerleaders covering themselves in traditional dresses, we had a moment to talk to the dimpled beauty Preity Zinta of Kings XI.

Om Puri, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, among others, get candid about their upcoming Bollywood venture Teen Thay Bhai
There's a Chixie Gill, a Happy Gill and a Fancy Gill, who make a 'down on luck' and 'out of money' trio that loves to hate each other! The three brothers are distanced by life and only brought together by 'will'. What follows is chaos, comedy and even the cast and crew of Teen Thay Bhai. At a premier-cum-promotion at PVR Cinemas, Om Puri, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra get candid on economics of entertainment

The summer is here and light hues are in. Take a look at Bollywood beauties wearing pastel colours
|
(1) Lara Dutta:
We aren't fans of the colour but Lara carries it off gracefully and looks classy. We like the pearl jewellery too. Her deep-cut blouse adds to the oomph factor. The hair-do complements her dress.
(2)
Kareena Kapoor:The lovely lady sparkles in a pink with red and silver embellishments saree by Manish
Malhotra. The shades look lovely on her and she is sparkling. She has draped the saree the right
way.
(3) Rani Mukerji:She keeps her spirits up by wearing a fluorescent orange dress. It is comfortable and summery. The glam quotient comes from the high heels and hip but function piece of
jewellery--her ear-rings. (4) Tisca Chopra:The sohni Punjabi kudi clicks with her white and gold outfit. The tunic is unusual but she carries it off. We love the clutch and chunky bangles. Gold gladiator heels complete her
look. (5) Sonakshi Sinha:
The dress is tacky, the flower especially. The
multi-colours do nothing to the shiny fabric. How could she wear to a fashion brand catalogue launch? Hope she picks up the right one next time. (6)
Juhi Chawla:One can never go wrong with white and blue. Juhi looks relaxed in a loose white tee paired with straight jeans. That’s what we call the classic summer look! (7)
Malaika Arora Khan:She is bringing colour-blocking back with a bang! She pairs a pale yellow blouse with a periwinkle blue skirt and a pop-pink clutch with printed white and black sandals. Nice!
