World Cup 2011: Cricket fans get lathis instead of tickets in Nagpur 
In what could be termed as a shameful repeat, Cricket fans on Tuesday were lathicharged over ticket sale ahead of India South Africa match outside the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur. Twelve days after similar scenes were witnessed in Bangalore, stick-wielding police battered fans in front of the ticket counter at the Stadium, as chaos broke out among those waiting outside the arena since a day before to buy tickets.

Bollywood actors play football to raise funds for Cancer, AIDS patients
Bollywood actors like Salman Khan, Sohail Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Ashmit Patel and others on Sunday played a football match to raise funds for cancer and AIDS patients in Pune. The match was played by Bollywood stars, renowned athletes like former hockey captain Dhanraj Pillai, and many actors from the Maharashtra film industry.

Shakti Kapoor is all set to comeback with a Punjabi film
Do you wonder where Shakti Kapoor has vanished don't worry he is back, though with a Punjabi film. He commenced the shooting of his upcoming film 'Rahe Chardi Klan Punjab Di' at Amritsar last week. On the occasion, he hailed the essence of communal harmony as well as friendly ties between India and Pakistan by citing both the countries have a state bearing the same name, language and similar culture.
