New Delhi/Allahabad: The mother of the lawyer of dentist couple Rajesh and Nupur Talwar was on Tuesday found strangulated in her East Delhi house.

Ana Menon, the mother of lawyer Rebbeca John who is defending them in the double murder case of their teenaged daughter Aarushi and helping hand Hemraj, was found murdered at her residence in Vivek Vihar, the police said. The police suspect robbery to be the motive behind the crime.

Allahabad HC reserves order in Aarushi case

The Allahabad High Court on Tuesday reserved its judgment till March 18 on a petition filed by Aarushi Talwar’s parents who challenged a special CBI court’s decision to initiate criminal proceedings against them in the twin murder case. — PTI
