Babbu Mann injured while shooting

Tejinder Mann, well known as singer Babbu Mann, was injured while shooting for his Punjabi film at Kandhola village here today.

The incident happened at around 4:30 pm, when Mann was shooting for his yet untitled film. The film on the floor is Mann Films’ Production number 3 and is being shot in Hindi and Punjabi simultaneously. The film’s unit was shooting at the Kandhola fort.

Film producer Ram Singh alias Raman said Mann was shooting for a fight sequence for film, when some sharp object pierced into his left hand.

He said Mann was shooting with a gun that accidentally went off hitting Mann in his left palm. Mann underwent treatment at the local Arora Hospital at Chamkaur Sahib, where doctors gave him six stitches under local anaesthesia.

Ram Singh said Babbu Mann was fine and back in his home at Chandigarh.

A native of Khant Maanpur village in Morinda, Babbu Mann gained stardom with Sajna Rumal De Gaya song and now has been into Punjabi film making since 2003 with Hawayein.
