SIT ‘findings’ put Modi in a tight spot
Ahmedabad, February 3
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) set up to look into Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi's alleged role in the post-Godhra riots of 2002 is reported to have found that the Chief Minister had tried to water down the seriousness of  the situation. According to a news magazine that released details of the purported report of the Supreme Court-appointed SIT, Modi tried to water down the seriousness of the situation at Gulberg Society, Naroda Patiya and other places by saying that "every action has an equal and opposite reaction".
