Orhan Pamuk, the Nobel laureate whose session remained talk of the day on the opening day of Jaipur Literature Festival, which took off today, said, "I am translated in 58 countries but the hardest thing was to get published in Turkey (the country he belongs to and writes about).”

Tougher norms to protect wildlife parks
Chandigarh, January 21
India is finally making efforts to prevent unplanned urbanisation from choking wildlife sanctuaries and national parks. The Union Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoEF) has formulated new guidelines to speed up creation of eco sensitive zones, which will act as shock absorbers around sanctuaries and national parks.
