New Delhi, December 21
Controversial corporate lobbyist Niira Radia was questioned by the CBI today at her farmhouse in Delhi.

A team of CBI officials reached her residence at around 10 am and questioned her on her role in the 2G scam. Though the CBI did not issue any statement, official sources said Radia was questioned on her links with the companies and their bosses who had benefited from Raja’s arbitrary policies in selling 2G spectrums in 2007 and 2008.

Radia’s residence and the premises of her Vaishnavi Communications were earlier raided by the CBI. She had also been questioned by the Enforcement Directorate officials for her transactions in foreign currencies.

Her leaked tapes, recorded by the Income Tax department between August 20, 2008, to July 10, 2009, are not likely to be of much importance to the CBI as they did not have much importance as far as their probe into 2G scam was concerned, sources said.
