I-T raids on Reddy brothers, 4 BJP MLAs in Karnataka

Income tax officials conducted simultaneous raids on the premises of three ministers, Karnataka Health Minister B Sreeramulu and mining magnates Reddy brothers, besides four other ruling BJP MLAs here today. SC seeks report from Haryana on Mirchpur
New Delhi, October 25
The Supreme Court today directed the Haryana government to file a fresh status report within three weeks giving details of the relief and rehabilitation measures undertaken in Mirchpur, the scene of violence against Dalits in April this year.

Blast at Baba Farid’s dargah in Pak, 6 killed
A powerful bomb went off outside outside the gates of the shrine of sufi saint Baba Farid packed with devotees in a city in Pakistan’s central Punjab province today, killing at least six persons and injuring 25 others. The blast, which severely damaged the walls and parts of the shrine’s structure, occurred near a spot where the sitting arrangement had been made for women devotees.
