Ayodhya: HC divides disputed land into three parts
Lucknow, September 30
The Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court on Thursday ruled by majority that the disputed land in Ayodhya should be divided into three parts to be distributed among the Sunni Waqf Board,
Nirmohi Akhara and the party for 'Ram Lalla'.

CBI to hunt for impersonators
Chandigarh, September 29
With two PGI doctors in the CBI net, the hunt is now on for those who appeared in the entrance test in place of the duo. The impersonators also hold the key to identification of other doctors who might have managed to secure a seat in the PGI and other prestigious institutes across the country after paying a hefty amount to agents.

The tainted doctors after being produced in the district court.The CBI today secured the police custody of PGI junior residents Dr Amit Musale and Dr Sujay Sonawane till October 1. The agency said it wanted to interrogate the doctors to get to the impersonators who took the entrance test for the duo. Both doctors were arrested yesterday.

As part of the eight-point plan to ease the ongoing trouble in Kashmir, the authorities have decided to immediately release 100 youth who had been arrested for stone-throwing over the past four months in Kashmir. They would be handed over to their parents on the assurance of their good conduct in future.

Gavaskar dropped from IPL council
Mumbai, September 29
Former Indian skipper Sunil Gavaskar is not a part of the new Indian Premier League (IPL) Governing Council team that was reconstituted in the Board of Control for Cricket in India's (BCCI) Annual General Meeting (AGM) held here on Wednesday. Former Indian cricket captains Ravi Shastri and Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi have, however, been retained in the IPL Governing Council. Other members of the new IPL Governing Council are Chirayu Amin, Arun Jaitley, Rajiv Shukla, Ranjib Biswal and Anurag Thakur.

Mush’s party set for Friday launch 
Former Pakistan President General Pervez Musharraf has told The Tribune that he will launch his new political party, the All-Pakistan Muslim League (APML), on October 1. Musharraf, who has lived in the UK off and on since he stepped down from office in 2008, says he hopes to “change the political culture” of Pakistan with the launch of his party from a London base.
