India signs MoUs with Czech Republic
In a historic landmark, India signed three Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Czech Republic at Prague on Tuesday during Indian Vice President Hamid Ansari's three-day state visit to the country. India's Junior Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Sachin Pilot and the Czech Minister for Labour and Social Affairs, Peter Simerka signed the pacts. The MoUs primarily pertain to economic cooperation and social security between the two nations.

Pak FM terms Singh's Kashmir speech as visionary
While speaking to the media on the sidelines of the third Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) Summit in Istanbul on Tuesday, Pakistan's Foreign Minister, Shah Mahmood Qureshi hailed Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's speech in Kashmir, as visionary. Meanwhile, Speaking about the upcoming visit of Indian Foreign Minister S.M Krishna to Pakistan on July 15, Qureshi said that the meeting between the two ministers would be a confidence building measure.

BGIA activists demand special prosecution cell
Activists of the Bhopal Group of Information and Action (BGIA), a voluntary forum crusading for the Bhopal gas tragedy victims, demanded that the Indian Prime Minister must set up a special prosecution cell for further investigation of the incident. Sarangi even asked the Indian Prime Minister to pressurise the American President Barack Obama to take stern action on Union Carbide. Further referring to law minister M Veerappa Moily, Sarangi said that it wasn't a case of justice denied, but of justice buried.
