Opposition continues to stress JPC probe into IPL scandal After Governing Council meet of Indian Premier League (IPL) in Mumbai on Monday, opposition leaders reiterated their demand for a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probe into the alleged financial irregularities in the IPL, the multi-million-dollar cricket extravaganza. Man exposed to Delhi radiation dies A man, hospitalised after radiation exposure in New Delhi earlier this month, died of multiple-organ failure on Monday. Rajender, 35-year-old worker in Mayapuri scrap market, died at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). He was admitted to the hospital on April 13. Four other radiation exposure patients are still in AIIMS. Ten sources of Cobalt-60 had been discovered in the market. (56k)
