Chidambaram visits WB today, security beefed up
Ahead of the Home Minister P Chidambaram's arrival in West Bengal today to review the anti-Maoist operation in Lalgarh, the security has been beefed up in the state. That apart, the Home Minister will also tour the political flashpoint of Mangalkote in Burdwan.

Central budget to boost investment and growth: Pranab
India’s Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee on Friday remarked that India's central budget for 2010-2011 would boost private investment and put the economy back on 9 percent growth trajectory. The central government till now had maintained that the economy would grow at 8.5 percent in 2010-11.
