New Delhi, January 3
Desperate to nab the three Pakistan-trained terrorists who gave cops the slip from here yesterday, the Delhi police today released their photographs and even announced a cash reward of Rs 50,000 each for information leading to their arrest. Besides, the Delhi government has announced a magisterial probe into the case.

The terrorists, Abdul Razzak (61), Rafakat Ali (55) and Mohammad Saddique (55), were taken to Guru Nanak Eye hospital for check-up by the officials of the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) and later to cycle market in Old Delhi for lunch, from where they escaped.

All three of them were arrested in 2000 for planting a bomb near the Delhi airport. A large amount of RDX was also seized from their possession. The terrorists had served their sentences and were to be deported back to Pakistan. They were lodged at Sewa Dham Lampur transit camp in Narela, near Haryana border.

Delhi Chief Secretary Rakesh Mehta has said a magisterial probe had been ordered by Lieutenant Governor Tejendra Khanna to look into various aspects of the incident. The probe would be conducted by DP Dwivedi, the Deputy Commissioner of North West District, Revenue Department. He would be submitting his report within a week.

Meanwhile, a red alert has been sounded in Delhi and its neighbouring areas. Any person having any clue regarding the whereabouts of the terrorists is required to call up Assistant Commissioner of Police, Special Cell at: 011-27061500, 011-27061508, 011-27061570.
