3 Pak terrorists escape
Tribune News Service

New Delhi, January 2
Three Pakistani terrorists, who, after the completion of their respective sentence, were to be deported to their country, escaped from the detention of the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) this evening. They were involved in the Turkman Gate blast in the capital on June 18, 2000.

The three terrorists, Abdul Razzak, Sadiq and Rasyat, were to be deported to Pakistan via Wagah Border. “They had completed their sentence after conviction in the Turkman Gate blast case and were to be deported to Pakistan. They managed to escape while in the detention of the FRRO,” said Rajan Bhagat, PRO, Delhi Police.

Denying the reports of escape from a city hospital while visiting it for medical examination, Bhagat said the trio escaped while on road and in the custody of FRRO officials. The police has launched a massive hunt for the escapees.
