Back to the roots
For designer Parvesh and Jai, fashion elements come from the rural segment
Demographics and fashion aren't coherently related. Because if they were, women from Haryana wouldn't have been able to carry off a five metre cloth ghagra with such ease, Rajasthani women would have by now begun to support pastel colours instead of matching a dirty pink with florescent green, Patiala salwar wouldn't have reached boutiques of Canada and England…. Those who still perceive of fashion as a property of urban India, should get into a debate with Parvesh and Jai.

Who would have thought that SMSes could also awaken one's conscience?
It doesn't take much to awaken a nation out of a deep slumber - a realisation from within, and nerves to stand up against the wrong, no matter what. This is what brings about a revolution that moves towards bringing about a change. Say hello to technology, for it is largely being used as a reminder and a circulator. SMSes urging Indian citizens to for the cause of internal security to commemorate the anniversary of 26/11, reminding people to vote for the right leadership, telling them to donate blood regularly, asking students to make the right career moves….Change begins here.
