Canadian PM assures exchange of info on Rana
New Delhi, November 17
Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper today declared his country’s resolve to closely cooperate with India in future exchange of information about Tahawwur Hussain Rana, a Pakistan-born Canadian national, who along with US national David Headley was involved in plotting terrorist attacks in India.

The government today promised to thoroughly investigate if David Headley, a US citizen of Pakistani origin, and his Canadian accomplice Tahawwur Hussain Rana had any role in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.

Jhinda, associates declared tankhayia
Amritsar, November 17
The five Sikh high priests have not only accorded tankha (religious punishment) to the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (HSGPC-Adhoc) chief Jagdish Singh Jhinda and four of his associates in the September 13 Kurukshetra gurdwara row, they have also directed a former Akal Takht Jathedar, Prof Darshan Singh, to appear before Akal Takht on December 5 and explain his alleged blasphemous remarks against Guru Gobind Singh.
