The second case is regarding the clash outside the polling booth at Hindu Kanya Mahavidyalya between supporters of Gupta and INLD candidate Hari Chand Midda which left DSP Jagbir Singh injured.

A case has been registered against Vinod Ashri, president of the local MC, Babli Sharmaa, councillar, Raghbir Bhardwaj, Suresh Garg, Sudhir Mahajan and 50 others for indulging in violence.

The complaint was lodged by Harbans Lal, a polling agent of the INLD candidate.
