They say our city is hip and happening, but fashionistas and the one's who follow fashion trends religiously say that new designs, especially Bollywood-inspired, do come to the city a little late. Wondering how true it is, we ask designers and people in the business of fashion to spell the style-o-meter for us. "Chandigarh is at least a month late when it comes to fashion trends," says Radhika Taheam, a fresh pass-out from INIFD-8. Talking of the latest, she says, "Afghan pants and breeches have hit the city fashion circuit now, when they are near gone in Delhi and Mumbai.
