The tree and the plants utility is well understood, and documented. They contribute to almost everything in our day-to-day life; leave aside providing the lifeline— oxygen. However, a gardener is never satisfied. That is how the interest keeps him going. His innovative ideas are for others to emulate. The plants that we now have in the gardens were all growing in the woods and were brought to decorate our cities and homes. The selection of the plants was made as per their utility. Some were used as avenue trees, while others were fit for home gardens. Once that was done then the gardeners started thinking about the best use a plant could be put to.
